The main ingredient of PP cooling master batch is PP resin and peroxides, reducing the molecular weight of PP through the peroxides. Then reduce PP processing temperature(20~30℃), improve melt index of PP. The cooling master batch is mainly used in PP spinning, PP woven bags, high fluidity injection molding parts, PP pipe extrusion etc the forming process, to improve the comprehensive fluidity of the resin melt, enlarge the coloring range of the resin, reduce extrusion temperature, and make the resin can be extruded fastly and stably.
1. Raw material automatic feeding system
The storage and transportation of raw materials adopt automatic feeding device, PP resin and peroxides adopts loss-in-weight dosing feeder to feed it into the twin screw extruder. Ensure accurate dosing of each component to guarantee the stable melt index of the master batch.
2. Main extruder with high torque and long L/D
Adopts high torque gearbox and configure with long L/D barrels and screw, long barrel length can provide a longer residence time, allowing the peroxide and PP resin to slowly degrade and distribute evenly and reduce the melt index fluctuation to make it more uniform; it is equipped with 1~2 vacuum degassing ports to extract residual peroxide and small molecular by-products, thus reducing the smell of the masterbatch.
3. Special designed die head
The die head has special designed channel, the high fluidity melt uniformly flow inside the whole die mold of the head, the residence time is the same everywhere in the width direction to ensure the uniform extrusion velocity of melt in each outlet hole of the die.
4. Special designed water bath
The water bath is with extended design, and is equipped with slide type guiding device near the head end, the flow guiding device is close to the discharging hole of the die and connect with water inlet. The flow guiding device rapidly cools the high-speed easy adhesion melt flowing out of the discharge hole, and quickly introduces it into the water bath through water flow and completely cool the strand. The special designed water bath can effectively avoid the high MI easy adhesion melt staying at the die to cause strand accumulation.
